TwitchDownloader is a reference tool on Windows. It ships a GUI, a command-line tool, and a note at the bottom of the docs: there is no Mac app. On Apple Silicon, you work from the terminal, including pasting an auth token for a subscriber-only VOD.
TwitchDL is a personal port, written in SwiftUI, compiled for arm64, using FFmpeg. You paste the link, pick a quality, start the download. The Twitch auth cookie is stored in the macOS Keychain, only for channels you already have access to.
A queue, chat export as JSON or text, a channel browser, trim. The interface is black and white. Green marks a session or a success, red an error.
